The Information Below will help to Answer any Questions you may have About Our OnLine Ordering & Catalog Service.
- WILL I BE ABLE TO GET A TRACKING NUMBER FOR MY ORDER?
A - Yes, except for some occasional smaller/lightweight orders sent by US Mail, most orders are shipped by either trackable UPS, or US Postal Service w/ Delivery confirmation.!! As long as you entered your email address correctly, most orders are sent an automatic confirmation email from the carrier, with the tracking number, ( Or "Delivery Confirmation Number" if USPS), after it is packed and/or shipped. Keep in mind that this email can take up to 24 hrs after the label is printed. Some occasional small items sent not have tracking available.
- CAN I HAVE AN ORDER SHIPPED "SOMEWHERE ELSE", IE - TO MY; "SUMMER HOME", "WORK ADDRESS" "BUDDY'S HOUSE", "HOTEL LOBBY" Ect.. INSTEAD?
A - NO, not using the Online Catalog, or by Credit Card. For Both ours, & the customer's security, All OnLine orders Must ship to the USA address as listed & known with your Credit/Debit card company, or the PayPal VERIFIED listed address only. No Exceptions. You can usually list a secondary authorized shipping address with most card companies, seperate from the billing address, contact your Card issuing bank if you need more information on this subject.
* You can, However, Pre-Pay Orders in advance, by Postal Money order or Western Union Transfer, and they then can be shipped to any address you choose, once payment arrives & clears here.
- WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE INFORMATION ENTERED DURING AN ORDER?
A - All Order information is only used as nessessary by Advanced Specialties Inc, simply in correspondence with you, & as nessessary to process/verify payment, & have your orders shipped. That's it. We DO NOT Sell, Rent, or otherwise give any information to other companies or individuals for any other reason, period.
- IS THE ONLINE CATALOG SSL ENCRYPTED?
A - Yes, All Order & Checkout Screens utilize The safe SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for security & safety. Most web browsers will show a small "Padlock" icon in the lower right corner to signify you are on a secure site such as our OnLine Catalog.
- HOW MUCH WILL SHIPPING COSTS BE ON MY ORDER?
A - We Are Currently Offering a Special FLAT $8.99 s/h Fee on almost ALL ORDERS Deliverable to a Continental USA (Lower 48) "Street Address!! The Only Exeptions are the following:- Orders Outside of the Lower '48 (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, VI. ect..), plus any Orders that must ship to a PO Box, or any other "undeliverable by UPS" address.
- Also, a very few of the Largest/Tallest, & Heaviest Items in The OnLine Catalog may have an additional shipping fee Clearly Listed in their Description ( For example Some of the Larger Base Station Antennas ect..). Otherwise, this FLAT s/h charge is the only fee you will be charged for s/h/i, regardless of how heavy your total order is, or how many boxes we may have to ship your order in!! The Shipper we choose is Always at our discretion, but most of our orders are generally shipped by UPS or US Mail.
- HOW FAST CAN I EXPECT MY MERCHANDISE TO BE DELIVERED?
A - We ship most orders Fast, usually the same/next "Business day" once they are received! Depending on your zipcode, you can expect delivery anywhere from overnight, to about 5 to 7 "Business days" from the day we ship. Your UPS Tracking number can be used at 1-800-PICK-UPS, or www.ups.com to obtain the expected delivery date. Orders sent by USPS mail or the US Postal Service that have a delivery confirmation number, can be viewed at www.usps.com .
- CAN I SPECIFY TO LEAVE THE ITEM ON THE BACK PORCH, OR DELIVER IT AFTER 3PM, ect?
A - NO. First, We simply have no final control over the US Postal service, UPS or other carriers & their delivery times or actions in your area. Any such requests will be ignored when filling your order.
Also, Keep in mind many orders may Require a Signature at time of delivery. You can usually call UPS or US Postal, & have them hold the item for pickup, or re-schedule delivery, if receiving a failed signature delivery attempt notice at your door. - WHY WAS MY ORDER DELETED FROM YOUR FILES, OR NOT SENT OUT?
A - There are generally 5 main reasons why your order would not be filled, & would therefore be Permanently Deleted from our files & not charged to you:
1) - The Sale/amount was "Declined" or not authorized by the Credit Card Company.
2) - The shipping NAME/ADDRESS/ZIPCODE/CVV entered does not match anything on file with the card issuing bank, or PayPal, for that account number.
3) - The Order had an "export" shipping address outside USA, where orders must be prepaid by Postal Money order/Western Union Xfr Only, not by credit card.
4) - The Credit card number entered came up as an "invalid card number", missing or incorrect digits etc..
5) - Customer tried to order an item "Not Available", "Sold Out" or similar, in the OnLine Catalog's description of the item, or the item was otherwise unavailable at time of order.
*** Please note that in almost all cases an email will be sent with the specific reason an order is being deleted from our files. Email "spam filters" have been known to delete some types of "real" emails, & this may be a reason you would not have received it.
